RV Organica Bergamot Essential Oil – 100% Pure & Natural
Rind of the bergamot orange that's what goes into the press. Not the fruit itself, not the juice. Just the outer skin. Most of the world's supply comes from Calabria, that southern strip of Italy where the climate happens to suit it. A bit comes from Southeast Asia too. The smell is hard to explain if you haven't tried it somewhere between lemon and something warmer, almost like a spiced tea. It's been used in perfumery forever, which is why you'll find it listed in a lot of colognes you already own without knowing it.
What we sell at RV Organica is just the oil. Nothing added, nothing stretched with carriers or synthetics.
Bergamot in aromatherapy isn't really a sleep thing. People pull it out mid-afternoon when irritability kicks in, or when the brain just won't settle. Twenty minutes in a diffuser usually does something not dramatic, but you notice the difference. Unlike lavender, it won't pull you toward sleep. More of a mental rinse than a sedative. Some people feel it immediately, others barely notice honestly depends on the person and how they usually respond to citrus.
Skin is where it gets more specific. Bergamot has real antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity which matters if you're dealing with acne, clogged pores, or a generally oily T-zone. A couple of drops in your usual cleanser or toner is enough to start seeing a difference over a few weeks. Skin tone tends to even out too with regular use.
One thing nobody mentions until after the damage is done: bergamot contains a compound called bergapten. It makes your skin react strongly to UV. Apply it and go sit in the sun, and you'll end up with dark patches that take months to fade. Always dilute before applying, always follow with SPF if you're going outside. Not optional.
Got a flaky scalp? Yes, bergamot works on that but manage expectations. Stir a few drops into your shampoo or mix with coconut oil and massage into the scalp before washing. Chronic, severe dandruff needs a dermatologist, not an essential oil. What bergamot does is keep everyday scalp irritation from snowballing less itching, less flaking week to week.
Tight shoulders after a long day take a teaspoon of jojoba or almond oil, drop 2–3 drops of bergamot in, warm it between your palms and go. The scent alone changes the experience compared to plain carrier oil.
RV Organica ships retail bottles and bulk orders across India and internationally. Every batch gets tested before it leaves. If you're a formulator or aromatherapist sourcing regularly, reach out directly we can talk quantities.
