Grapefruit Essential Oil
The grapefruit oil is fresh and tangy with a smell that immediately lifts your mood. It is cold-pressed using the peel of fresh grapefruits - an incredibly simple procedure, which produces an incredibly versatile oil. Skincare, haircare, aromatherapy, cosmetic formulations- cuts across the board.
For Skin:
It is antimicrobial and antifungal, and can be employed as a natural preservative in cosmetic formulations - it influences the longer shelf life. Apply it on face scrubs, face mask, face lotions and it softens the skin and provides it a natural touch. The oil contains Vitamin C, Limonene, Citronellol and Myrcene - compounds which fight against free radicals and helps prevent pollution and environmental damage of the skin. Results do not occur with one day use.
For Aromatherapy:
The drops required in a diffuser and the room in general is different. It is mental fatigue, stress or, quite simply, a bad mood, that the citrus aroma breaks through. Actually, studies on citrus scents corroborate this and it is not just a marketing gimmick. Works well at home and at the workplace to concentrate and become productive.
For Hair:
Put it in your conditioner or Shampoo. It helps in averting the production of oil on the scalp and reduces dandruff and improves hair follicles with time. Hair that is slim, with frequent use, becomes naturally shiny. No biggy, just needs to be used regularly.
One Important Thing:
It is a smooth oil. Should not be applied to the skin, but should be mixed with a carrier oil. Patch test before full application in case of sensitive skin.
